VillageFest
VillageFest is a weekly event every Thursday night to celebrate community on Palm Canyon Drive. The street is closed to cars and becomes a festive street fair with well over 100 vendor booths and good times aplenty. From October through May, the event is from 6-10pm while June through September, it is 7-10pm.

Greater Palm Springs Pride Parade and Festival
The Greater Palm Springs Pride Parade and Festival is an extension of the Greater Palm Springs Pride’s mission to promote public awareness of the LGBT community. The event includes a large pride parade, a festival with a diverse lineup, the Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast, and a Pride Honors Awards show to recognize individuals who further the LGBTQ cause.
Palm Springs International ShortFest & Film Market
The Palm Springs International Film Festival and ShortFest are two great events for cinephiles to visit the Valley. The Film Festival is spread across nine venues and occurs in January each year. ShortFest is a summer event that highlights short films and celebrates them through an award show with cash prizes.
Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular at Rancho Mirage
Witness the desert’s largest fireworks show every 4th of July for Free courtesy of the city of Rancho Mirage! Held at The Show at Agua Caliente Casino, this live display is accompanied by a DJ, food, and plenty of room for you to bring a chair and blanket so you can sprawl out all afternoon.

Stagecoach Music Festival
Head out to Indio in the spring for the annual Stagecoach Music Festival. Modernism Week Fall Preview
Celebrate mid-century Modernism in October with this annual festival. Events include tours of iconic modern architecture, vintage car shows, lectures and seminars on the history of Palm Springs, and social events. The preview is shorter than the main event in February but will give you a taste of what’s to come.
